Romanis. The larger-than-life
statue of Trebonian the Gaul shown in the photos can be seen in the new
Greco-Roman installation at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The sculpture, the only known full-body bronze from the 3rd century, was
discovered near Rome's Church of San Giovanni in Laterano. The gold coin
bearing his image is in the numismatic collection of the
Palazzo
